AI Commander earns its place when the machine is remote and headless, when the work has to keep running after the chat ends, when there is a GPU to reserve, or when there are several machines to address by name. It is the wrong tool when the computer is the one in front of you, when the environment is air-gapped, when you cannot install anything on the target, or when you have no hardware of your own — in each of those cases the pages above name a better option and link to it.

Free is AI access to your computers, up to 10 saved machines. Pro is $49 a month and covers every saved machine up to a technical 100-machine ceiling*, plus file transfer with remote_pull and remote_push.
